MARINK REEDIJK BLIJFT AAN BOORD
SK Beveren is verheugd te kunnen aankondigen dat met Marink Reedijk een overeenkomst werd bereikt over een verlengd verblijf. De Nederlandse coach blijft in het seizoen 2025-2026 aan boord als T1.
Vorige zomer koos SKB met Marink Reedijk voor een jonge, dynamische en gedreven coach. Het bleek een geslaagde keuze, want de Nederlander slaagde er afgelopen seizoen in om geel-blauw naar een knappe vierde plaats te loodsen.
Na de play-offs gingen club en coach met elkaar in gesprek. Beide partijen stonden van bij de start positief tegenover een verlengd verblijf. De club is dan ook opgetogen dat er een nieuwe overeenkomst bereikt kon worden.
General manager Bob Peeters verduidelijkt:
“Ik ben heel tevreden dat Marink Reedijk ook in het seizoen ’25-’26 aan boord blijft. We kozen heel bewust voor continuïteit, voor rust in de tent. Reedijk is er vorig seizoen in geslaagd om te voldoen aan de op voorhand afgesproken parameters. Hij bracht, zeker in de tweede ronde, aanvallend en dominant voetbal, zoals ik het graag heb. Net als bij de duurtijd van de eerste overeenkomst hebben we nu opnieuw afgesproken om een jaar langer met elkaar verder te gaan. We bekijken het jaar per jaar. Daar voelen beide partijen zich goed bij.”
Een enthousiaste T1 Marink Reedijk:
“Ik ben blij om nog een jaar trainer te mogen zijn van deze mooie club en verder te bouwen op wat we vorig jaar hebben neergezet. We gaan met z’n allen weer keihard en energiek werken om dominant én attractief voetbal te kunnen spelen. Om wederom samen met de fans mooie momenten & herinneringen op de Freethiel te creëren.”

MARINK REEDIJK EXTENDS HIS STAY AT SK BEVEREN
SK Beveren is proud to announce that Marink Reedijk has signed on to continue as head coach for the 2025–2026 season. The Dutchman will remain at the helm, leading the team as T1 into the new campaign.
Last summer, SKB opted for a young, dynamic, and ambitious coach in Marink Reedijk. That choice proved to be a successful one, with the Dutchman guiding yellow and blue to an impressive fourth-place finish last season.
Following the conclusion of the play-offs, the club and coach entered into discussions. From the outset, both parties expressed a strong willingness to continue their collaboration, and SK Beveren is pleased that a new agreement has been reached.
General manager Bob Peeters:
“I’m very pleased that Marink Reedijk will continue with us for the 2025–2026 season. We deliberately chose continuity—to maintain stability within the club. Reedijk met the targets we had set at the beginning of last season and, particularly in the second half of the campaign, implemented the attacking and dominant style of football I like to see. As with the initial agreement, we’ve again decided to extend for one more year. We’ll continue to evaluate things season by season, which suits both sides well.”
Head coach Marink Reedijk shared his excitement:
“I’m happy to continue as head coach of this great club for another year and to build further on the foundation we laid last season. Together, we’ll work with energy and determination to play dominant and attractive football—and to create more special moments and memories at the Freethiel with our fans.”
