Global Football Holdings (“GFH”) announces that it has concluded discussions regarding a potential sale of SK Beveren with a third-party buyer. After a comprehensive review process, GFH has decided not to proceed with the proposed transaction. As we already have begun the exciting upcoming 2026-27 season, we want all focus to be on the challenges ahead in the Pro League beginning August 9th!
GFH remains committed to SK Beveren’s continued development across sporting performance, operations, and community engagement. The progress achieved in recent years, including the strengthening of the club’s competitive position and its return to 1A, reflects the dedication of the staff, players, supporters, and local partners. GFH will continue to support the club’s ambitions and ensure stability throughout the organization.
SK Beveren holds a central place in the Beveren community, with deep local roots and a strong identity. The club’s strategic direction, youth development initiatives, and community programs will continue unchanged.
While GFH will continue to have full operational responsibility for the club, it remains open to exploring future partnership opportunities that could strengthen the club across sporting and non-sporting areas.

Global Football Holdings (“GFH”) maakt bekend dat de gesprekken over een mogelijke verkoop van SK Beveren aan een derde partij zijn afgerond. Na een uitgebreid beoordelingsproces heeft GFH besloten de voorgestelde transactie niet door te zetten. Nu het nieuwe seizoen 2026-27 van start is gegaan, willen we alle aandacht richten op de uitdagingen die voor ons liggen in de Pro League, met de competitiestart op 9 augustus!
GFH blijft zich inzetten voor de verdere ontwikkeling van SK Beveren op sportief, operationeel en gemeenschapsniveau. De vooruitgang die de afgelopen jaren is geboekt, waaronder de versterking van de competitieve positie van de club en de terugkeer naar 1A, weerspiegelt de inzet van het personeel, de spelers, de supporters en de lokale partners. GFH zal de ambities van de club blijven ondersteunen en de stabiliteit binnen de organisatie waarborgen.
SK Beveren neemt een centrale plaats in in de gemeenschap van Beveren, met diepe lokale wortels en een sterke identiteit. De strategische koers van de club, de initiatieven rond jeugdontwikkeling en de gemeenschapsprogramma’s worden onveranderd voortgezet.
Hoewel GFH de volledige operationele verantwoordelijkheid voor de club behoudt, staat het open voor toekomstige partnerschapsmogelijkheden die de club op sportief en niet-sportief vlak kunnen versterken.
