SK Beveren heeft met RKC Waalwijk een akkoord bereikt over de definitieve overgang van Chris Lokesa (21). De Belg met Congolese roots ondertekende bij geel-blauw een contract tot midden 2028.
Chris Lokesa is een dynamische speler met snelheid, verticaliteit, wendbaarheid en atletisch vermogen, die uit de voeten kan als flankspeler, maar ook tot zijn recht komt in een meer centrale rol.
Na een sterke start bij RSCA Futures in de Challenger Pro League, met drie doelpunten en twee assists in elf wedstrijden, maakte Lokesa begin januari 2023 de overstap naar RKC. Voor de club uit Waalwijk speelde hij 74 wedstrijden waarin hij tien keer scoorde en negen assists gaf.

SK Beveren has reached an agreement with RKC Waalwijk on the permanent transfer of Chris Lokesa (21). The Belgian with Congolese roots has signed a contract until mid-2028.
Chris Lokesa is a dynamic player with pace, verticality, agility and athletic ability. He can operate as a wide player but is also effective in a more central role.
After a strong start with RSCA Futures in the Challenger Pro League, scoring three goals and providing two assists in eleven matches, Lokesa made the move to RKC in early January 2023. For the club from Waalwijk, he played 74 matches, scoring ten goals and delivering nine assists.
